Alpine Mountain Ski Area originally started in 1964 as Timber Hill Ski Area. The name was changed to Alpine Mountain in 1985 when is was purchased by new owners. Pictured to the left is one of the original ski patches from "Timber Hill Ski Area".Alpine Mt. Ski Patrol is mostly composed of volunteer patrollers who dedicate their time to help others in need. These patrollers spend many hours of training off season in order to prepare themselves for the ski season.
Alpine Mt Ski Patrol is a member of the National Ski Patrol System, Inc., a 501c corporation chartered by the US Congress.

The National Ski Patrol (NSP), founded in 1938, is the largest winter rescue education organization in the world. It is composed of more than 27,500 members serving over 600 ski and outdoor resorts. Our members include volunteer, paid, winter, and summer outdoor recreation patrollers throughout the United States and at certain military installations overseas. NSP's vision is to be the premier provider of outstanding education programs and services benefiting the global outdoor recreation community.
